FIRM HISTORY Since 1936, when David B. Cohen began a law practice in Derby, he and his successors have maintained a continuing legal presence in the community. Now known as Cohen & Thomas, our firm offers a wide range of legal services throughout the State of Connecticut, including trials and appeals in all State and Federal Courts. Cohen & Thomas has our principal office in the historic former Derby Savings Bank building, constructed on Derby’s Main Street in 1919, which we converted to a law office in 1978.
